Roy A. Burton is a visual artist who has been drawing and painting most of his life. Originally from Newfoundland he has called Leamington, Ontario home for the past few years. Roy works predominantly in acrylic, but has also dabbled in oils and watercolour. Through a combination of careful observation, delicate execution and fine delination, he depicts his subjects in a highly detailed and precise fashion. Roy has managed to capture the ever changing moods and rhythms of the shoreline and woodland subjects - images that serve as a contemporary documentation of a disappering lifestyle. Roy has been exhibiting his artwork in galleries, juried shows, group and solo exhibitions. This award winning artist's work is featured in private collections in several countries including Japan, Great Britian, Australia, Africa, USA, and Canada.
